On Wednesday 21st November 49 year seven students paid a visit to our partners National Trust site Quarry Bank in Styal to learn about life in the Victorian times. They were able to visit the Apprentice House and see how the children lived, walk around the village and experience the working conditions in the factory and mill. This visit will assist the children in their understanding of the Victorian texts they are studying in school. It was a lovely day and the students were all a credit to the school.
