Our Year 9 pupils learned all about life on the frontline when the RAF roadshow rolled into school recently.
Students were dazzled with an array of demonstrations, including a £4,000 drone which can track car registration plates at speeds of up to 250 mph.
Michele Hooper, Head of Science, said: "It was a fun and informative afternoon which really engaged the pupils. They particularly enjoyed the virtual reality simulators and the two mini jet engines which were so loud that everyone had to cover their ears! We'd like to thank the RAF for coming in and giving students a taste of life in the forces."
